*10层沙拉:10 layer salad
生菜 Lettuce, break apart by hand
甜红椒 Sweet red pepper, sliced
甜青椒 Sweet green pepper, sliced
新鲜速冻豌豆 Fresh frozen peas, 1 lb bag
豆荚 Pea pods, about ¼ lb
熏肉 Crispy Bacon (on side), 1 lb package
红洋葱 Red onion, medium, sliced
切达奶酪丝 Shredded cheddar cheese, 12-16 oz
切片蘑菇 Sliced Mushrooms (optional), 6 oz
蛋黄酱 Mayonnaise, 16 oz, “Lite” (Regular tastes better – but has too much cholesterol and fat.)
Optional - sliced almonds

• Prepared the night before in a bowl
• Starting with the lettuce on the bottom, add the other ingredients.
• The bacon can be added but is better if added at time of serving. Also, some people don’t want the bacon for various reasons.
• The last layer is the mayonnaise layer. Spread over entire salad. Acts like a seal keeping all the ingredients fresh.
• Mushrooms will darken the left-over salad in the refrigerator.
• Mixed just prior to serving. Keep cold. Use an ice pack under the bottom of the bowl while serving.
